but above all, thanks for taking the trouble to turn up...even if some of you had to come from other parties or dinners...or came straight from other states without even going home first...or straightaway came from shopping earlier...no matter how tired you were... even if you only came for the free food, thanks alot...it means alot to me that you were there. =)

IMU

okay, before anything...i just wanna say...this is yunyi...as in yeah, i'm not in IMU. but since all those IMU dungus are too lazy to post and i'm sure the rest of us are eager to hear from them...i'll do us all a favour and type what i know! =) hahaha so yeah, if my info not accurate, then erm...blame my hearing and understanding skill. =P

so yeap...basically, this week has been registration, uni and library tours, loads and loads of briefings (1 about insurance coverage so you know whether you should just set yourself on fire in the lab or you should throw yourself off the roof =.=""), PBL inductions or intros or whatever, and IMU is anal about dividing people into groups. there's the PBL group, the orientation group, the OLIS (or however you spell it), SILOS (ditto)...erm yeap, boring stuff...or so i've heard.

and about the uni itself...LT3 (i think) is really cool apparently...stadium-like seatings with a projector which comes down from the ceiling...and sound absorbing walls.......unfortunately, the lectures are going to be held in the very bare and undecorated LT2 which looks like a warehouse. so yah, tough luck.

about the people...erm...as far as i've heard...there's this gang of people who are as crazy as PM3...you know, with all the perverted jokes and loudness and stuff...not very sure of their names...i think there's a melvyn, a sharon...OH and huixuan's friend, hooi hooi i think...who has a twin studying somewhere else. there's a bunch of 20 smth year old posers who discuss about the mysteries of the human hand during break, and there's the backpack dude who carries one of those huge backpacks people normally use for camping...but yeah, enough about that. honestly, i shouldn't be saying anything cuz i was the one with the turtle bag...so yeap... =P no hot chicks so far...pity, innit? hahahhaa.

oh and there was this english exam on fri. honestly, i don't know why imu is so into the english standard of their students...i mean, everyone's already done either ielts or muet or BOTH...so yeah, why they bother with another 3-hour exam is beyond me. but anyway...now that the boring stuff is out of the way...next week is orientation week!!! =)

and how i wish i can be there next week to watch. each orientation group (with their own names and cheers) are given different themes for diff days of the week...can't really remember the themes now...i just know the magician's hat, cuz i totally had no clue what it's about (btw, it just means, you can come up with any theme you like). oh right there's some "sugar and spice" theme too...hahaahha and i have no idea what the themes are for. i think it's just for dressing up...but i'm not sure. too many activities going on. i mean there's also some japanese soldier thing...but i have no idea where THAT comes in...=.= oh btw, jon's his orientation group leader...so yeap, have fun bossing people around! =P

i think the most interesting day would be friday night...which is variety night, i think...where we have the IMCC (I Am SiSsy/International Medical Congeniality Contest). 1 guy from each group has to crossdress and perform according to the group's theme. so cheers to soohan, terry and yinncher who have been selected for the event!! remember to post pics, guys...i'm sure we all wanna see right? =P and the rest of the group members have to put on a performance based on the group theme...so yeap, PICTURES PLEASE!! =)

anyway, no stress lah people. oh and classes are only like 2 hours in the morning...and 1 session of PBL a week =.="""""" so free these IMU people...no wonder the course is 2.5 years...wahahahahaa. okay i don't think i have anything else to say...except that the cafeteria food is not bad. haha and if you think that all these dungus have been so busy and tired that they can't even do proper posts so far...you can expect not to hear from them next week cuz everyday orientation until 12am...isit? hahahhaha have fun guys! and sorry if i typed any wrong info...haha i'm not part of it after all. =P the real imu-ians, feel free to edit my post or correct me where i'm mistaken.

venue : my house. so far, no one's asked me my address or directions so i assume you all know the way.

time : 7pm onwards. food is served from 7-10pm...don't come at 12am and expect me to serve you dinner. if you wanna come early, it's fine with me...do let me know though unless you wanna catch me in a mouldy ol' t-shirt and shorts. =P

Hi! I had a great time in KL and I just wanna say I'm gonna miss you guys dearly. Do take care yea. And to those leaving for UK, Ireland soon, I'm sorry I can't send you guys off. Do let us know when you are going off and update us either by e-mail, sms or this blog yea. And I want a personal sms, not just some forwarded e-mails! LOL.. The point is, do update us and keep in touch. I miss college days lah. Going back to Taylor's the other day reminded me of all the great times we've had in college. Actually, I can't really think of any bad days in Taylor's, except for maybe the part where Ms Ching scolded us ( particularly some backbenchers *wink* ) or maybe some exam stress. But those days aren't that bad. I miss the library part too. I miss my daily routine - wake up late, rush to college, grab something in the cafeteria or kiosk, dream about breaktime during classes, suntanning outside Bio classes, talk crap and laugh during break, after 3pm go hang out for awhile then library. I actually miss those days. Anyways, I had great fun and just have to cherish those moments. Hehe.. ( Guess what, I dun even update my own blog this often so, you must post up something too! )

Im in my hometown in johor now. I just had dim sum. 4person and it was only RM16. haha.

Yesterday at around 1pm i was told that i got the offer from pmc, twinning with ucd. But only today or tomorrow i'm receiving the offer letter. All this while ive been thinking abt rcsi but now i got ucd. I couldnt really acccept it cos if i take up this offer I'll be leaving 4th september. It's really too soon wei! Now most probably i'm going already. So this week i'm gonna go shop for my clothing and find out more about ucd.

I don't even have much time to say farewell and hang out with you guys. It's so sad. huhuhu =(

Kenn's Midnight Joy Ride

Fondue is excellent! I sencerely recommend anyone who has a taste bud to try it at some point in their life. Incidentally, I've also found the recipe for making cheese fondue here. PM3 chefs, get to work!! XD

Anyway, I thought I'd make my blog debut by telling you all a little tale of my misadventure today. Sure, the night may have ended for many after we left the fondue shop. But for me, that was just the beginning.

To start things off, I hereby confess that I'm the worst driver. Ever. There I was sending Christina home to her apartment near Mid Valley. Unfortunately, we had to make three circles as I would constantly miss the turn off as I'd suddenly realise that I was on the wrong lane!!!

And then, after dropping Chrissy home, armed with detailed directions on how to get back onto the Federal Highway, I took off only to find myself staring at the entrance to Taman Desa five minutes later. So, there I was sitting outside S.M.K. Desa Perdana at midnight calling my dad to help give me directions. Problem was that he was in the loo. Genius that I am, I figured I would be able to figure out the way back to Old Klang Road and make my way back.

Then, there I was driving when my dad finally called back and he gave me the bad news; apparently, the I was driving in the opposite direction from Old Klang Road. Cue dramatic music as I did a highly illegal U-turn in the middle of a main road complete with drunk racer traffic around me. Finding Old Klang Road, I drove and drove and drove until I reached a fork in the road. And again, I sat there for almost ten minutes trying to guess which one to take. Taking the right one, I finally got home. Only to realise that apparently, BOTH roads would've led back to bangsar, one via Federal Highway while the other through Mid Valley!!!

So much for Bangsar being my 'territory'...

oh well its so so so damn late now bt i still on9 la cause my hair is still wet after bathing...for your information today i went to collect my cert in taylorz n after that v went to hartamas n went to mamak in usj9 wif darray n siewhui la untill 1 oclock....wah raech home at about 1.20 n parentz sitting outside my house waiting for me to be home!! wow!! ahha no la they ask me to bungkus meggi mee goreng for them ma!!



so anyway im here to clerify bout the 'soohanz in love' thing la!! eh soohan where gt in love so easily wan!!!!! rite?? this is just 1 cute girl i met wen i was working in giant la so no big deal!!

pity me la....this week alone hv to do 3 lab reports(each around 8 pages long on average),then a 600 words essay in which i have to cite references from at least 8 sources(with strict referencing format to follow lest getting charged for plagiarism),then summore got bio test on fri which includes 5 chapters....
if life continue to be like tis...i m seriously gonna become a dracula wei...(sleep in the dimly lit lecture hall and active at midnite)...
anyway...u guys dun worry too much bout ur uni life in the future,since most of u doing medic rite?it won't be loaded with assignments like mine...but u guys will have to study the book,memorize it from the front to the back la...actually i prefer that...haha!!

here i am, to make this blog a tad bit livelier. btw, my goodness, what a long entry you posted, darray. don't know how long you took to write all that. but anyway, this is supposed to be about my japan trip. for those who didn't know, i went to japan with my mum on the 28th july and came back on the 31st.

Hey guys! Just to update those of you who didnt make it for today's outing. I hope everyone knows about it. Haha. Cos not everyone replied me to confirm their attendance. ;p

Only 5 kind souls went to Pyramid to meet up with Huixuan at 5pm. Me n shirley reached the place at around 2.40pm cos we could not find transport anytime later. We went straight to the cinema to catch a movie, An American Haunting which starts at 3pm. I dont even want to talk about it. =.='' for some reasons..Haha. During the movie, hongping msged me that he would arrive at 430. Then terry called to say that he would arrive around that time too.

After the movie, we waited for them at mcD's and they arrived shortly. Terry first then hongping, who looked like he just woke up, as usual..Vivek came with him too! Then terry started talking cock and all soon followed. Kenn came then. We waited n waited for our guest of honour to come but she didnt. Hongping said maybe the bus broke down. Terry added that the bus went to kl central to change then come back to subang... sweatness =.=''

Just to describe a little bit about hx's bro n her cousin. Her brother's name's Say Khai. I found it in her frenster. She showed me long ago. He's studying in MMU, doing IT. My first impression was that it didnt strike me that it was her brother. He's taller than me and friendly. Im running our of words cos i didnt talk to him.

Here's the part where han likes. ;p Her cousin's name's either pei yin or pei ling. Hx was calling her and i just couldnt get the last word. More or less its either one. Haha. She's older than us, still studying bt i forgot what hx told me ad. She lives around here i think. Quite pretty, fair, and ladylike. *han stop bugging me thru smses!* ;p That's about it. Couldnt descibe any further. She would be nice to talk to if i have any other chance of seeing her again. HAha.

Hx, her cousin and shirley were doing it. According to hx's bro, the girls have to stand 2metres away from the cam and another 2metres apart from each other. They took some time to take their first pic. He needs it for his assignment. He was adjusting the came and their positions. Somehow he finally snapped. The other guys sat at the rock and we realised that we could do better than them! Our natural positions are so nice that it would look natural if the cam was for us! But too bad ;p After a while we decided to have dinner at kim gary and went to reserve a table there. Kenn went back to the girls while we went to Giant to get some drinks.

At Giant, we went to the confectionary area and there were some promoters giving out icecream samples, le cremiere. Me, terry and hp each took one. While eating we went to grab free coffee at the arif cafe stand. The chilled drinks were nearby were there but no soft drinks. Only vitagen and dairy products. Before we left we tried some other ice cream flavours. We went to the soft drinks department bt there were liquors there too! We checked them out, their volume, prices and brands. Blue label Rm699.00. =.='' Hp wanted to get a shandy bt i told him after drinking it would spoil his appetite but he was hesitant. Terry got a call from Kenn and he ended up din buy cos can get drinks from kim gary.

We met up with them and the eight of us sat nicely on a round table. We ordered and the waiter was repeating the orders i guess. (i didnt know what he was blabbing about) Before food came, saw some ex seafieldians. Then makan makan makan. Then hp started talking about physics and after a while i shut him up..haha. Got out of the place still waiting to get some photos but it was dark ad. Then we went into pyramid through the entrance by the side of the restaurant. Terry left b4 that. Then hx, her cousin and her bro left us too. They went to get some food, the rest into the washroom.

At this point, left kenn, shirley, hong ping and me. We went to the cinema to see if there's any nice shows. Dont have so we left and decided to go gazebo for some special request! =) We went there, sat down and ordered our drinks and ********some text missing******** We talked till 1130 and then decided to go back. It was a fun day, for those who went. Haha. (maybe this part is quite short but somehow one of us will add on if neccessary=) )

p.s. : Huixuan still look the same. Her hair's a bit longer, but the dye still remain. I thought she was gona come up with some new colour like purple like she wanted it. She cant change much in two months, since i last saw her. Haha. I shud have went with han to kelantan that time. Bt this terrible han conned me saying that he would take bus when returning. He ended up taking a plane which i love so much, cos i havent sat for a long long time! =.='' but nvmla since he's my other gay i forgive him. Wahahaha!

Huixuan's really busy with her assigments n studies. I didnt get to talk to her much cos she has to entertain her brother n cousin. Aneway it was such a short time we get to see each other but it was worth spending a day for that. Haha. May i remind you that i came 2.5hours waiting for her ;p She's staying at a condo, with two guys who are the landlady's kids. So no messing around and bringing guys to her place as suggested by hp. Hehe.

I might be going to monash depending on which uni i get into. So probably i'll get to see her more often. There's a new campus for medicine in monash. She said she'll be having her lessons there mid next year, even better! =) See how things go la. Monday's a big day. So no outings for the rest of the week prior to that.

oh ya another thing that makez my job so fun....IM THE ONLY MALE PROMOTER FOR SHAMPOO....which meanz every promoter around me are all GRILZ wahaha got 1 woman la (son same age s me) bt the rest are like 21 -25 yearz old lo....and ya got another 1 16 yearz old only..studing in SMK usj4..damn cute adn darray seen her before...oh ya he came on sunday to see me...many thankz dr!!


and ya b4 i went back from work on saturday....i went to see darray (he again rite?? hhaa damn gay!!) for a drink la in mamak...asked siew hui out tgt but she cant make it so left with 2 of us lo....


well thatz all bout it la...overall damn fun la cause so many girlz working tgt...and you all know la....promoterz right....use mouth to cari makan 1....they are so freindly and kuat cakap!!! ahha you wont feel bored 1....wahhaha
